Mr. Anteneh Tesfaye is the Deputy Public Works Director for the City of South Pasadena. Before being appointed to his current positon in July 2022, he served the City for over 17 years in various capacity including, Water Utility Worker, Water Operations Supervisor, and most recently Water Operations Manager overseeing the day to day operations of the water production and distribution system.

Anteneh started his water career with Los Angeles County Waterworks Malibu-District 29 on April 4, 2004 as a Water Service Helper and continues his public service promoting collaboration and empowerment.

Mr. Tesfaye serves on the Board of the Main San Gabriel Basin Watermaster and is the Treasurer of the San Gabriel Valley Water Association.

He is certified by the State of California as a Grade 5 Water Distribution and Grade 3 Water Treatment Operator.
