Chisom Obegolu is the Assistant Director of The City of Glendora. He is responsible for managing the water operational and business functions of the City, which includes system operations, planning and water resources management. Among his primary duties is to implement the City Manager’s strategic plan and initiatives as well as to oversee the application and operational practice of the Water Commission’s policies and directives.

Chisom began his career with the City of Oklahoma City as a Utilities Engineer. In 2016 he took on an Engineering role with The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California where he worked on infrastructure reliability initiatives. He commenced his current role as Assistant Director of Water in 2021.

An avid hiker, Chisom earned a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at San Antonio and a master’s degree in public administration from California State University, Northridge.
